The little, a little and little

 In English, it is always seen perplexity among students to use them, but now you need not worry to use them just aware yourselves to their meaning and their keywords before they are used,


little 

little is a determiner (Adjective) which is placed before uncountable noun, it is negative word, its means that what ever quantity is showed it is negative but the question rises that how you will identify, the answer very simple look for such the word which is conveying negative meaning in the sentence.  

formula should be like this,
structure should be like this,

Little + uncountable noun


Ex;  Little knowledge became curse for her,

Ex; Everything was stolen except little water in the bottle in the fridge.

Ex little knowledge is always dangerous thing.

Ex; she fought with him because she has little patience.



A little 

if the sentence is positive, positive means that if the sentence has any of the positive words among the formation of the sentence then 'A little "comes in the sentence. make sure that a little should come before uncountable noun, if noun is not uncountable then avoid the use A little.

A little + uncountable noun

Ex; A little amount has been sent to her to buy a gift.

Ex; little patience need to crack competitive exams.

Ex; I have a little knowledge about this book.

Ex; Mr. sharma bought a little milk for crying child.

Ex; There is a little hope of his recovery because he is very serious.


The little

The little is generally indicator of showing total quantity in the sentence, but keep it mind that it also comes before uncountable noun, find such words which show total amount or quantity.

Ex; The little money was all stolen, she had.

Ex; she spent the little money, she had.

Ex;  He did the little work, what he could.

Ex: I think we should protect time what we have.

Non-continuous verbs   Some verbs can not be used in continuous tense because such verbs are not used in the ING form. Similar verbs are called non-continuous verbs. Non-continuous verbs includes these characteristics (1) verbs that use thinking (2) verbs that show possession (3) verbs that reflect emotion, mental state, and condition (4) Verbs that reflect perception. AS, WHEN AND WHILE,( THESE THREE WORDS HELP TO EXPRESS SIMULTANEOUS ACTION)

There are many actions that occur at the same time that we have to use as, when and while to narrate them,,,, As, when and while, they are called  conjuction which are used to add sentences. Actions that occur at the same time are also called simultaneous action. While , While is used to indicate simultaneous long action, while using while we should keep in mind that the time in both sentences should be the same. Ex:- While they were playing cricket, I was studying.  Ex:- I am teaching you while you are disturbing me.  Ex:- I made him understand while he  looked at them.  WHEN,  When is also used to describe simultaneous long action, using when, we also have to keep in mind that time should be same in the both sentences.
