Understanding Bare Infinitives: Usage and Examples"



Most the students do not have the idea of Bare infinitive, But they do use daily or Day to Day lives.


The first Question rises that What is Bare infinitive ?



And the Simple Answer is, A verb without 'To' Certain verbs that do not need to express themselves with 'To".


Where can we find them in English Grammar ?


We find them in tenses,There are 12 tenses and Each and Every tense structure is Based on.

Sanjeet + verb + object. it means that the tenses Are Base of "Bare infinitive" Apart form tenses you can also see them in modal verbs.


Example of Bare Infinitive verb,


Ex:They missed their train. 
Ex: She will call him tomorrow.
Ex: He has done his work.
Ex: We are playing Cricket.
Ex: Somebody was knocking the door.
Ex: you had played well. 
Ex: They will have lodged a complaint.
Ex she has been singing a song since
Morning.
Ex: I had been playing Cricket Since 2020.

AS, WHEN AND WHILE,( THESE THREE WORDS HELP TO EXPRESS SIMULTANEOUS ACTION)

There are many actions that occur at the same time that we have to use as, when and while to narrate them,,,, As, when and while, they are called  conjuction which are used to add sentences. NON - CONTINUOUS VERB

Non-continuous verbs   Some verbs can not be used in continuous tense because such verbs are not used in the ING form. Similar verbs are called non-continuous verbs. Non-continuous verbs includes these characteristics (1) verbs that use thinking (2) verbs that show possession (3) verbs that reflect emotion, mental state, and condition (4) Verbs that reflect perception.
