The noun is four letters word, but it has a vast value in English grammar, but everything we know, it's known as a noun.
But do you know that there is some noun which does not have the plural form, or it is the right word to call, they are an uncountable noun?
advice, advertising, food, furniture, garbage,
information, knowledge, money, shopping, time, traffic, travel, equipment, jewelry, poetry, scenery, breakage, wastage, grocery, stationery, crockery,
Over the last few years, they have made themselves more useable and more searchable, questionable, it is a very common question that comes to students' minds about why they are called uncountable nouns.
To understand the theory of an uncountable noun, we have to understand the concept,
Look at these points and acknowledge them.
(1) All the nouns which have their liquid form, are known as uncountable nouns.
"Water" is the most common word for the uncountable noun, the presence of water is in liquid but it makes itself into a countable noun, just like a glass of water, a bottle of water.
And
(2) Such nouns have an indefinite number of their availability which has made them uncountable nouns.
Pulse, rice, sugar, sand, hair, all these have an indefinite presence, that is why they are known as an uncountable nouns.
Ex:- A piece of sugar, pieces of sugar, a piece of rice, pieces of rice.
