INFINITIVES WITHOUT "TO"

Hello friends, 
Today we are going to talk about infinitive without "TO" but before that it is important to know what infinitives are because most children do not know what infinitives are?


Definition of infinitives,
Infinitives is a verb that is unable to tell the exact time of any event or exact time of action.

Ex :- To sing, to play, to write, to know, to call 
etc. 
From the given examples, it is not known what is the correct time for the action.

It has become a matter of what infinitives are but we know about the verb in which To is not used.



Note:- There are many auxiliary verbs which do not use the "TO" after themselves but rather use the verb without "To" 
These are the auxiliary verbs that do not use to after themselves,, would, should, could, can, may, might, will, shall, 

Let's understand by an example,,, 

Ex:- We should follow trafic rules while crossing the road. 

Ex:- Ramesh who might leave the main gate open. 

Ex:- All the candidates must answer at least five out of ten questions. 

Ex :- He can do this work easily. 

Ex:- She will not inform us. 

Ex:- could you drop me at my office? 


Note: - Some verbs are, which do not use "TO" after them,or it can also be said that any prepositions are not used after these verbs. 



They are, stress, investigate, comprise  , accompany, emphasise, consider, pervade, precede succeed, invade, resist, enter, direct, join, discuss, describe, reach, demand, attack etc.

Ex:- He emphasised the need of discipline in life. 

Ex:- They discussed the actual problem. 

Ex:- She said that She would consider the leave application. 

Ex:- I will join you tomorrow. 


Note:- When we join two infinitives structures by And, Or, Except, But, Than, and as, the second verb is always used without "TO". 

Ex:- He wanted to learn and write hindi when he was in 10th class. 

Ex:- You all have to play cricket or leave it for ever.

NON - CONTINUOUS VERB

Non-continuous verbs   Some verbs can not be used in continuous tense because such verbs are not used in the ING form. Similar verbs are called non-continuous verbs. Non-continuous verbs includes these characteristics (1) verbs that use thinking (2) verbs that show possession (3) verbs that reflect emotion, mental state, and condition (4) Verbs that reflect perception. Non continuous verb में शामिल होती है ये विशेषताएं होती हैं (1)  ऐसी क्रियाओं जो सोचने मे प्रयोग होती है (2) ऐसी क्रियाएं जो आधिकार दर्शाती हो (3) ऐसी क्रियाएं जो भावना, मानसिक दशा, और दशा को दर्शाती हो (4) ऐसी क्रियाएं जो जो धारणा को दर्शाती हो! (1) verbs that use in thinking:-  think, know, mean, mind, remember, suppose, etc . (2) verbs that show possession :-  own, have, belong, comprise, possess, contain, consist, and etc. (3) verbs that reflect emotion, mental state, and condition :-  believe, like, dislike, love, adore, want, wish, desire, hate, agree, trust, imag...

USE OF HAVE

Use of have Have often means to own or possess . (Have) अक्सर खुद के पास या होने का मतलब है। Have always used according to subject (Have) का प्रयोग हमेशा सब्जेक्ट के अनुसार किया जाता है Look at the subjects and their helping verbs. "HAVE" use with the subject I, YOU, THEY, AND WE. AND "HAS" use with the subject HE, SHE, IT, NAME. To make a positive statement. Subject + have/has + object. Ex- she has a pen. Ex-उसके पास एक पेन है Ex- I have knowledge. Ex- मेरे पास ज्ञान है To make a Negative statement. Subject + do /does + not + have + object. Note: to make Negative and Interrogative statements, all subjects have is used. Ex- she doesn't have a pen. Ex- उसके पास पेन नहीं है Ex- I don't have knowledge. Ex- मेरे पास ज्ञान नहीं है To make an Interrogative statement. Do/Does + subject + have + object? Ex- does she have a pen? Ex- क्या उसके पास पेन है Ex- do I have knowledge?
