PRESENT SIMPLE TENSE

Present simple tense/simple present tense/present routine action tense, these are the names which are worked as a same tense which is known as a present simple tense.

The simple present tense is one of several forms of present tense in English. It is used to describe habits, unchanging situations, general truths, and fixed arrangements.




In present simple tense, first form of verb is used, first form of verb always works according to subject (कर्ता).

Subject (कर्ता) is also divided in two parts which are called, singular subject or plural subject.
These are the words which work as a singular subject (कर्ता).
 He, she, it, everybody, somebody, anybody, nobody, everyone, someone, anyone, no one, this, that, each, either, neither, none, etc.

And these words work as a plural subject (कर्ता).
I, you, they, we, these, those, both, etc.

Let's talk about first form of verb.

A verb which ends with es, ies, and s is called singular verb.
And a verb  without es, ies, and s is called plural verb.

How to Form the Simple Present



Look at the formats. 

Subject+verb+object. 

First-person singular: I play
Second-person singular: You play
Third-person singular: He/she/it plays (note the ‑s)
First-person plural: We play
Second-person plural: You play
Third-person plural: They play

How to Make the Simple Present Negative

The format for making a simple present verb negative is SUBJECT+DO/DOES+NOT+OBJECT You can also use the contraction don’t or doesn’t instead of do not or does not.
Anita does not want to share the bread. She doesn’t think there is much to go around. Her friends do not agree. I don’t want bread anyway.


How to Ask a Question

The formula for asking a question in the simple present is DO/DOES+SUBJECT+VERB+OBJECT ?.
