In Public speaking or addressing, generally, people do blunder, and it happens to because they don't recognize the words which enhance their skills while speaking, most of the time they are confused to select that these work as singular or plural even they are confused which helping verbs or auxiliary verbs come for these words.

If talks about what they are, here are the list of them,
Everybody, somebody, anybody, nobody, everyone, someone, anyone, no one, everything, something, anything, nothing, one, all, many, much, both, few, a few, the few, little, a little, the little, several, the number of, several, these, those, this, that, every, each, none, either, neither and many more to come but the point is, you must keep in mind that they work their features.
These things should be followed while using them in speaking, writting,
(1) some of them are known as singular and some of them are plural.
(2) singular works with a singular verb.
(3) plural works with a plural verb.
(4) these words work as a singular, everybody, somebody, anybody, nobody, everyone, someone, anyone, no one, everything, something, anything, nothing, this, that, little, a little, the little, much, whole, all,
(5) These words work as a plural, many, some, both, several, few, a few, the few, all + noun,
(6) these auxiliary verbs are known as singular, does, did, is was, has, had, will, shall,
(7) these words are known as plural verbs do, did, are, were, will have, had, shall have,
(8) While speaking or addressing this format must be framed in your mind,
Singular words + singular auxiliary verbs,
Plural words + plural auxiliary verbs,
As a learner, this is the priority that we should keep practicing because practice makes a man perfect.
