Whatever be the language, words always keep importance in language because after joining words together then is used to spoken or written, this process is called language.
When we talk about joining words, there are only two parts of speech in English which are used to join words.
The first is the preposition, which is used to connect words, while the conjunction is used to connect sentences other than words, but today we will talk about such expressions whose preposition is not used before, and these types of questions are always found in the mind of children.

Let's understand them through examples,
Ex-: He faced an accident yesterday.
Ex-: I will call you tomorrow.
Ex-: This month, she is bussy.
Ex-: One day, he will return the same.
Ex-: The prime minister addresses the whole nation every year.
Ex-: Indian team played well yesterday.
Ex-: you can talk to me any time.
Ex-: See you next week.
But now we will also try to understand which are the expressions of time whose preposition is used before.
In is used before morning, evening, and afternoon, but when talking about night there are two preposition which considered as options to use before,
first is "in" and second one is "at".
IN is used before night when night is considered special night or particular night.
Here are examples which make you understand clearly.
Ex-: Mr. John called me before faced an accident in night.
Ex-: she danced in the night to impress him.
Both examples show that these incidents happened in particular night.
While At is placed before night when it is considered normally or as usual.
Ex-: He talk to his wife at night.
Ex-: I often drink milk at night.
Both examples is indicating that night is considered as usual.
Don't forget to add before "on" in the following expressions.
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
Ex-: I will call you on Monday.
Ex:- See you on Sunday.
