SUBJECT + VERB AGREEMENT (PART-A) In Subject + verb agreement (part - A) we are going to learn about EITHER - OR, NEITHER - NOR and NOT ONLY - BUT ALSO, these are Conjunctions which are used in most sentences as well as, There is also CONFUSION, how to use them.

We have already learn what  is eqallity , we are going to talk about this equality again, but we will read about EITHER - OR, NEITHER - NOR, and NOT ONLY - BUT ALSO ,,,,,.

If two subjects are added with EITHER - OR, NEITHER - NOR, and NOT ONLY - BUT ALSO, the verb is always used according to the second Subject.

But when we add the subject from EITHER - OR, NEITHER - NOR, and NOT ONLY - BUT ALSO, then we have to keep in mind that both the subjects should be of the same parts of speech but this rule is not compulsion.

Let us explain this by example. In this, we will also see that the rule of eqallity has been used in it or not ,,,

Ex :- Either you or I am going to attend the meeting.
In this example same parts of speech has been followed, you and I both are pronoun.

Ex :- Neither Ram Nor shayam has done his work.
In this example Ram and shayam both are NOUN, here has also same parts been followed.

Ex :- Not only you but also she works hard to clear the exams.
In this example same parts of speech has been followed.

Note :- Now let's talk about their exceptions.

(1) Whenever using neither - nor, to add the two subject, do not use NOT in the sentence, because neither - nor both are negative words. This means that "NOT" is included,,,,

Ex :- Neither India nor Pakistan is not trying to solve its issues.

This example is incorrect because  not is not used when neither - nor is used.

(2) Neither of ,,,,, means neither one of the two, or more than two has been mentioned therefore it would be correct to use None of, rather than using neither of.

Ex :- Neither of the four girls is doing her work.

This sentence is incorrect because more than two people have been mentioned.

This example should be like,
Ex :- None of the four girls is doing her work.

(3) Either of,,,,,, means one of the two, if more than two is mentioned , therefore it would be correct to use "One of" rather than using Either of,,, .

Ex :- Either of the five students has been played the game.

This sentence is incorrect because more than two people have been mentioned.

This example should be like,

Ex :- One of five students has been played the game.

That's all about Either - or, Neither - nor, Not only - but also,,,,,
