preposition of time (part- A)


As we have already discuss about the role of the proposition,so in this let us talk about the preposition of time. 
We are going to learn such preposition which shows time in the sentence. 
हम ऐसे preposition सीखने जा रहे हैं जो वाक्य में समय दर्शाता है।

Before learning preposition, let me know you, that preposition has three positions where it is used in the sentence. 
First position,
mid position, 
and the last position. 

First position, means before the subject of the sentence or at the beginning of the sentence. 
पहली स्थिति, का मतलब वाक्य मे subject के पहले या वाक्य की शुरुआत में।

Mid position, means a after the auxillary verb or main verb. 
मध्य स्थिति, का मतलब सहायक क्रिया या मुख्य क्रिया के बाद का अर्थ है।

Last position means in the place of object or after the object. 
अंतिम स्थिति का अर्थ object के स्थान पर या object के बाद है।
Example Sentence:-
To me, learning is important.

"To" is a proposition which is starting a Sentence. 
He is sitting on the chair. 
                        ⬇️
" on" is a preposition which is placed after the verb.
May icome in.
                    ⬇️
" in" is a preposition which is placed in the place of object.

These are the prepositions which show time.
"at", "in", "on", "from", "by", "since", "for", "within", "before", "after", "about", "around" etc.
Use of at, 
1) at is placed before exact time. 

Ex:- all the classes start at 8 am. 
Ex:- she wakes up at 5:am.
Ex:- the train will departure at 9: pm

2) at comes before the name of parts of day. 
 At dawn, at noon, at night, at mid night etc
Ex:- some body was knocking the door at mid night. 
Ex:-: i will watch movie at noon. 

3) at is used before the name of meals time

At breakfast, at lunch, at dinner, 
Ex:-: the meeting will be held at lunch. 
Ex:- all the decisions have been taken at breakfast. 

4) at /on are used before the name of festivals. 

At is placed for same day 🎄of a festival. 
And 
On is placed for the duration⏰ of a festival. 
Ex:- many brands give 50% flat discount on diwali. 
Ex:- we burn ✨crackers at diwali. 

Use of " in "

1) in is used befor name of seasons. 
2) in comes before name of months. 
3) in is placed before name of years. 
4) in is used before name of century. 

Ex:- we use umbrella in rainy season. 
E, :- she has taken admission in march. 
Ex:- india won the first world cup in 1983 & the second world cup in 2011. 
Ex:- we are living in 21st century. 




Use of "on" 
1) on is used befor name of week days. 
Ex:- i will teach you on Monday. 
Ex:- india played last match on Sunday. 

2) on comes before date. 
Ex:- india got freedom on 15th of August in 1947.
3) on is used before name of week days + parts of day. 
Ex:- i will leave bhopal on Sunday morning. 



Use of " from" 
1) from is used to show expansion of time.

From Monday to Saturday 
Ex:- she works from monday to Saturday. 

Use of about & around. 
1) about & around are used to show proximate time. 
Ex:- it is about 10 o'clock. 

Use of" by"
Lets discuss the variation of "by". 
1) by is used in the sense of (तक) or possibility of time. 
Ex:-' the train will arrive by 9 o' clock. 

2) by works for the means of 🚙🚚🚕transportation. 
By 🚘car, 
By 🚉train, 
By🚌 bus, 
By✈️ plane, 
By⛴️ship
On 🚲cycle, 
On bike, 
On scooty, 
On🛵 scooter, 
On🐎 horse, 
On 🐪camel, 
On 🐘elephant, 

Ex:- he went to delhi by 🚉train. 
Ex :- i came here on bike. 

3) by is used in the sense of (से), but से used according to the words or situations. 

"By" is used in the sense of(से) before name of disease but with the word of "die". 
Ex:- she died of cancer. 

"From" is used in the sense of (से) before name of disease but with the word of "suffer". 
Ex:- she was suffering from malaria. 

"To" is placed in the sense of (से) but when say or speak is used. 
Ex:-  he said to her. 
Ex:- Raja harishchandra always speak truth to the people. 
"Through" is used in the sense of (से) but for passing. 
Ex:- A bird came into the room through the window. 
"Since" is used in the sense of (से) but when the time is known by the Name. 
Ex:- she has been singing a song since morning. 
"for" is used in the sense of (से) but when the time is known by the Number. 
Ex:- they have been playing cricket for two months. 

Use of "before", "after" 
Before and after are used for land mark of time. 
                  Before    ⬅️ 8:am ➡️    after 
Ex:- she came before 8: am and she came after 8: am

NON - CONTINUOUS VERB

Non-continuous verbs   Some verbs can not be used in continuous tense because such verbs are not used in the ING form. Similar verbs are called non-continuous verbs. Non-continuous verbs includes these characteristics (1) verbs that use thinking (2) verbs that show possession (3) verbs that reflect emotion, mental state, and condition (4) Verbs that reflect perception. Non continuous verb में शामिल होती है ये विशेषताएं होती हैं (1)  ऐसी क्रियाओं जो सोचने मे प्रयोग होती है (2) ऐसी क्रियाएं जो आधिकार दर्शाती हो (3) ऐसी क्रियाएं जो भावना, मानसिक दशा, और दशा को दर्शाती हो (4) ऐसी क्रियाएं जो जो धारणा को दर्शाती हो! (1) verbs that use in thinking:-  think, know, mean, mind, remember, suppose, etc . (2) verbs that show possession :-  own, have, belong, comprise, possess, contain, consist, and etc. (3) verbs that reflect emotion, mental state, and condition :-  believe, like, dislike, love, adore, want, wish, desire, hate, agree, trust, imag...

AS, WHEN AND WHILE,( THESE THREE WORDS HELP TO EXPRESS SIMULTANEOUS ACTION)

There are many actions that occur at the same time that we have to use as, when and while to narrate them,,,, As, when and while, they are called  conjuction which are used to add sentences. Actions that occur at the same time are also called simultaneous action. While , While is used to indicate simultaneous long action, while using while we should keep in mind that the time in both sentences should be the same. Ex:- While they were playing cricket, I was studying.  Ex:- I am teaching you while you are disturbing me.  Ex:- I made him understand while he  looked at them.  WHEN,  When is also used to describe simultaneous long action, using when, we also have to keep in mind that time should be same in the both sentences.
