SPECIAL NARRATION (ADVANCE NARRATION)





Here some special Narrations,

(FIRST) special Narration,

If reported speech starts with Question words, who, where, how, when, why and etc. 
यदि reported speech की शुरुआत प्रश्न पूछे जाने वाले शब्दो से शुरू हो तो! जैसे who, where, how, when, why, और etc.


These following options are followed to change indirect,

1) asked comes in the place of said and said to.
2) nothing comes in the place of(,) comma and(" ") inverted comma.
3) Question word is placed same where it is.
4) positive statement is used in the place of Interrogative statement.
5) Tense should be changed and
6) change the changeable words. 

Indirect speech मे बदलने के लिए इन निम्नलिखित विकल्पों का पालन किया जाता है,

1) asked का प्रयोग किया जाता है said और said to के स्थान पर ।
2) (,) और (" ") के स्थान पर कुछ भी नहीं आता है।
३) प्रश्न शब्द को वही रखा जाता है जहाँ वह है।
4) सकारात्मक कथन का उपयोग पूछताछकर्ता कथन के स्थान पर किया जाता है।
5) Tense को बदलना चाहिए और
६) परिवर्तनशील शब्दों को बदलें।

Direct:- she said to me, " where are you going today?"

Indirect:- she asked me where i was going that day.

Direct:- he said, " how will you inform me?"
Indirect :- he asked how i would inform him. 

2) Special Narration( SECOND)

If Reported speech starts with the helping verbs or modal auxillary verbs DO, DOES, DID, WILL, SHALL, IS, AM, ARE, WAS, WERE, HAS, HAVE, HAD, CAN, MAY, COULD, WOULD, etc.
यदि Reported speech की शुरुआत सहायक क्रियाओं या विशेष क्रियाओं से हो तो,DO, DOES, DID, WILL, SHALL, IS, AM, ARE, WAS, WERE, HAS, HAVE, HAD, CAN, MAY, COULD, WOULD, etc.


These following options are followed to change indirect speech,

1) asked comes in the place of said and said to.
2) if or whether is used in the place (,) and (" ").
3) postive statement is used in the Interrogative statement.
4) Tense is changed.
5) and change the changeable words.

Indirect speech मे बदलने के लिए इन निम्नलिखित विकल्पों का पालन किया जाता है,
1) asked का प्रयोग किया जाता है said और said to के स्थान पर ।
2) (,) और (" ") के स्थान पर if या whether का प्रयोग किया जाता है 
3) सकारात्मक कथन का उपयोग पूछताछकर्ता कथन के स्थान पर किया जाता है।
4) Tense को बदलना चाहिए और
5) परिवर्तनशील शब्दों को बदलें।

Direct :- i said to him, " did you complete your work?"

Indirect :- i asked him if he had completed his work.

Direct:- she said, " can you do this for me?"
Indirect :- she asked if i could do this for her. 

3) Special Narration (THIRD) 
If reported speech starts with exclamatory words, (HURRAY!, ALAS!, OH!, BRAVO! FI! PHOO!, PHAW!) 

यदि Reported speech ki शुरुआत exclamatory words से हो तो,  (HURRAH!, ALAS!, OH!, BRAVO! FI! PHOO!, PHAW!) 

These following options are followed to change indirect speech,
1) exclaimed is used in the place of said and said to. 
2) with joy is used in the place of Hurrah!. 
3) with sorrow is used in the place of alas!. 
4) with surprise is used in the place of oh! 
5) with applaud is used in the place of bravo!. 
6) with disgust is used in the place fi!, phoo! And phaw!. 
7) that comes in the place of (,) and ("  "). 
8) Tense should be changed. 
9) and change the changeable words. 

Indirect speech मे बदलने के लिए इन निम्नलिखित विकल्पों का पालन किया जाता है,

 1) exclaimed का प्रयोग किया जाता है said और said to के स्थान पर,. 

 2) hurrah! र्के स्थान पर with joy का प्रयोग किया जाता है!।

 3) Alas! के स्थान पर with sorrow का प्रयोग किया जाता है!।

 4)Oh! के स्थान with surprise का उपयोग किया जाता है!

 5) Bravo! के स्थान पर  with applaud का प्रयोग किया जाता है!।

 6) Fi!, Phoo!, Phaw! के स्थान पर with disgust का प्रयोग किया जाता है 

 7)  (,) और ("") के स्थान पर  that आता है।

 8) Tense  को बदलना चाहिए।

 9) और परिवर्तनशील शब्दों को बदलें।

Direct :- she said, " Alas! my brother died just two days ago" 
Indirect :- she exclaimed with sorrow that her brother had died just two days before. 

Direct :- he said, " Hurrah! India won the match yesterday" 
Indirect :- he exclaimed with joy that india had won the match the previous day. 

4) Special Narration (FOURTH) 
If Reported speech is  Exclamatory statement! 

These following options are followed to change indirect speech,
1) exclaimed or cried out is placed in the place of said and said to. 
2) That comes in the place (,) and ("  "). 
3) positive statement is used in the place of exclamatory statement. 
And the format should be used, 
Subject + helping verb + very / great + adjective + object. 
4) Tense should be changed. 
5) And change the changeable words. 

Direct :- he said to her, "what a beautiful girl you are!" 
Indirect :- he exclaimed her that she was a very beautiful girl.

Direct :- she  said, " what a fool man you are!" 
Indirect :- she cried out that i was a very fool man. 

5) Special Narration (FIFTH) 
IF Reported speech is in imperative statement. 
There are four types of imperative statements. 
1) ORDERED BASED, 
2) REQUEST BASED, 
3) USE OF LET, 
4) USE OF DO NOT, 

1) Lets discuss ORDERED BASED,

These following options are followed to change indirect speech. 
1) ordered, advised, or asked is placed in the place of said and said to. 
2) To comes in the place of (,) and ("  "). 
3) and the rest of the statement should be same. 
4) change the changeable words. 

Indirect speech मे बदलने के लिए इन निम्नलिखित विकल्पों का पालन किया जाता है,
1) said and said to के स्थान पर ordered, advised, or asked तीनों मे से किसी एक का प्रयोग किया जाता है 
2) (,) और (" ") के स्थान पर To का प्रयोग किया जाता है
3) बाकी वाक्य को उसी तरह रखा जाता है जैसा लिखा है 
4)और परिवर्तनशील शब्दों को बदलें।
Direct :- she said, " sing a song for me". 
Indirect :- she ordered to sing a song for her. 

Direct :- he said, "call the police". 
Indirect :- he advised to call the police. 

Lets discuss REQUEST BASED,

These following options are followed to change indirect speech. 
1) Requested is used in the place of said or said to. 
2) To is placed in the place of (,) and (" "). 
3) and the rest of the statement should be same. 
4) change the changeable words. 

Indirect speech मे बदलने के लिए इन निम्नलिखित विकल्पों का पालन किया जाता है,
1) said and said to के स्थान पर Requested  प्रयोग किया जाता है 
2) (,) और (" ") के स्थान पर To का प्रयोग किया जाता है
3) बाकी वाक्य को उसी तरह रखा जाता है जैसा लिखा है 
4)और परिवर्तनशील शब्दों को बदलें।

Direct :- i said, "please go away from here". 
Indirect :- i requested to go away from there. 
Direct :- she said, "please do sudy sincerely". 
Indirect :- she requested to do study sincerely. 

Lets discuss USE OF LET, 

These following options are followed to change indirect speech. 

1) ordered, advised,  asked or requested is placed in the place of said and said to. 
2) To comes in the place of (,) and ("  "). 
3) and the rest of the statement should be same. 
4) change the changeable words. 

Indirect speech मे बदलने के लिए इन निम्नलिखित विकल्पों का पालन किया जाता है,
1) said and said to के स्थान पर ordered, advised, asked or requested चारो मे से किसी एक का प्रयोग किया जाता है 
2) (,) और (" ") के स्थान पर To का प्रयोग किया जाता है
3) बाकी वाक्य को उसी तरह रखा जाता है जैसा लिखा है 
4)और परिवर्तनशील शब्दों को बदलें।

Direct :- he said to me, " let me handle this problem". 
Indirect :- he advised me to let him handle that problem. 

Direct :- she said to me, " let her sing a song". 
Indirect :- she requested me to let her sing a song. 

Let discuss USE OF DON'T, 
These following options are followed to change indirect speech. 

1) ordered, advised,  asked or requested is placed in the place of said and said to. 
2) NOT TO comes in the place of (,) and ("  "). 
3) and the rest of the statement should be same. 
4) change the changeable words. 

Indirect speech मे बदलने के लिए इन निम्नलिखित विकल्पों का पालन किया जाता है,
1) said and said to के स्थान पर ordered, advised, asked or requested चारो मे से किसी एक का प्रयोग किया जाता है 
2) (,) और (" ") के स्थान पर NOT To का प्रयोग किया जाता है
3) बाकी वाक्य को उसी तरह रखा जाता है जैसा लिखा है 
4)और परिवर्तनशील शब्दों को बदलें।

Direct :- They said to him, "do not disturb us". 
Indirect :- They ordered him not to disturb them. 

Note :- one more option avails to do this Special Narration. 
You can also use prohibited in the place of said and said to. 
And( to) is placed in the place of (,) and (" ").

NON - CONTINUOUS VERB

Non-continuous verbs   Some verbs can not be used in continuous tense because such verbs are not used in the ING form. Similar verbs are called non-continuous verbs. Non-continuous verbs includes these characteristics (1) verbs that use thinking (2) verbs that show possession (3) verbs that reflect emotion, mental state, and condition (4) Verbs that reflect perception. Non continuous verb में शामिल होती है ये विशेषताएं होती हैं (1)  ऐसी क्रियाओं जो सोचने मे प्रयोग होती है (2) ऐसी क्रियाएं जो आधिकार दर्शाती हो (3) ऐसी क्रियाएं जो भावना, मानसिक दशा, और दशा को दर्शाती हो (4) ऐसी क्रियाएं जो जो धारणा को दर्शाती हो! (1) verbs that use in thinking:-  think, know, mean, mind, remember, suppose, etc . (2) verbs that show possession :-  own, have, belong, comprise, possess, contain, consist, and etc. (3) verbs that reflect emotion, mental state, and condition :-  believe, like, dislike, love, adore, want, wish, desire, hate, agree, trust, imag...

AS, WHEN AND WHILE,( THESE THREE WORDS HELP TO EXPRESS SIMULTANEOUS ACTION)

There are many actions that occur at the same time that we have to use as, when and while to narrate them,,,, As, when and while, they are called  conjuction which are used to add sentences. Actions that occur at the same time are also called simultaneous action. While , While is used to indicate simultaneous long action, while using while we should keep in mind that the time in both sentences should be the same. Ex:- While they were playing cricket, I was studying.  Ex:- I am teaching you while you are disturbing me.  Ex:- I made him understand while he  looked at them.  WHEN,  When is also used to describe simultaneous long action, using when, we also have to keep in mind that time should be same in the both sentences.
