Lets dicuss as a GERUND VERB, gerund verb works as a (NOUN) now, the question rises what is the noun?
If talk noun is the name of things, if still has a confusion in noun, so noun can be defined in three easy ways.
which is seen, is a noun, which is touched, is a noun, and which is felt is a called noun.
Lets come to the point ,

( to + verb).
these verbs are "Avoid" , "consider" , "enjoy" , "excuse" , "feel" , "finish" , "mind" , "miss" , "can not help" , "go on" , "give up" , "it is no use / good" , "looking forward to" etc

Note:- There are some verbs with which the infinitive can be used, and Gerund also interferes with the meaning of such sentences. VERB + GERUND (VERB + ING) shows that the function is always normal.
but VERB + INFINITIVE shows that a work is done on a particular occasion or situation only.
Ex:- I like to watch movie. ( particular occasion or situation.)
Ex:- she stopped talking. ( Normal)
Ex:- she stopped to talk. ( particular occasion or situation)
Note:- If the sentence is to use Gerund (verb + ing) after Noun / pronoun, then use the possessive case of that Noun / pronoun and place it immediately before Gerund (possessive case + Gerund).
